The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Association of Tamilnadu

The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Association of Tamilnadu (PMA TN) is the apex representative body of pharmaceutical manufacturers in Tamil Nadu, dedicated to supporting and strengthening Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the pharmaceutical sector.

Established with the aim of uniting manufacturers, the Association serves as a strong collective platform for addressing industry challenges, regulatory issues, and policy matters. With headquarters at Block-D1, Baid Metha Complex, New No.16, Old No.183, Anna Salai, Little Mount, Saidapet, Chennai - 600 015, the Association actively engages with Central and State regulatory authorities, CDSCO, and other stakeholders to protect the interests of its members.

Through initiatives like the monthly journal PHARMAT, regular representations, seminars, and advocacy efforts, PMA TN empowers its members with timely regulatory updates, compliance guidance, and industry insights while promoting quality manufacturing and sustainable business growth.

To act as the unified voice of pharmaceutical manufacturers in Tamil Nadu, especially MSMEs.
To promote highest standards of quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory compliance among members.
To advocate fair policies, regulatory support, infrastructure development, and MSME growth in the pharmaceutical sector.
To provide timely information, knowledge sharing, and capacity-building support through publications like PHARMAT and other initiatives.
To strengthen collaboration for the sustainable growth of Tamil Nadu’s pharmaceutical industry.
